Handmade Leather Balm

Our handmade leather balm is a deep nourishing protective barrier treatment, designed to moisturise and soften, helping to keep your leather looking great.

Leather is skin and it requires regular cleaning and moisturising - much like our own skin. Neglect it and it will soon dry out, fade and show signs of premature ageing.  We have created this balm with natural ingredients, chosen for their excellent protecting, conditioning, softening and glossing properties, to give your leather a good feed and to make it look brighter and moisturised - without looking unnatural. We researched skin care as part of our development to find out what skin needs and how best to deliver it!

Did you know? - When you think of leather, you probably think of cowhide, it is the most popular choice as it is the thickest and easiest to take care of, but leather can also be made from the skin of sheep, goats, pigs and even salmon. Though we doubt you’ll be seeing any salmon leather on your car seats!

Use our Leather Balm if you would like…

• to condition for softness and suppleness

• a protective barrier to keep the leather looking better for longer

• moisture retention from humectant ingredients

• a smooth finish due to emollients filling the gaps between the leather cells

• deep nourishment with fatty acids

• reduced ageing from vitamin A and E content, aiding in protection from UV damage

• antibacterial and antifungal treatment

100ml - £10 each, mellow leather fragrance

Application: Firstly clean the leather with our leather cleaner. Then rub the balm into the leather with a sponge wax applicator or microfibre cloth in circular motions. Leave to absorb for a few minutes, ideal time for a cuppa in our sugar skull mug! Then buff the leather with a microfibre cloth. Repeat if necessary and reapply as required.

Please note: Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Do not use on suede or similar finishes. This product contains all natural products, please store at approx 18ºc. Do not allow the balm to freeze or get too warm.
